Friends of Figma - Houston
I absolutely love every one of their events because they go hands-on with Figma and the organizers try to help every single attendee with setting up and encouraging them to share and talk about their designs.
Side Project Society
If you have are building a product or idea on the side and want to meet like-minded people, this is where you need to go. They always have huge turnouts. There is opportunities to connect with other talented folks. Who knows, you might just meet someone that can help you out with your side project.

Design Thinking and Innovation
One of absolute favorite groups. I've been attending their events since 2019. It's not your typical group where you come and attend a talk, network, and leave. You are actively participating in interesting discussions around design thinking and how you can champion design in your own company or organization.
Houston Code and Coffee
A Houston coding meetup for any dev-curious, aspiring, or professional developer to work/hack on your project. Or learn to code in an afternoon with coffee and cool-inclusive people.
Houston Freelance Creatives
If you are a freelancer in Houston, or interested in freelancing, come to every event this group hosts. I have loved attending all their events before Covid and they are now back! They use the Lean Coffee method and everyone talks about topics around freelancing.
Houston Product Community
An outstanding community of Product Designer, Product Owners and Managers and anyone that is interested about learning more about Product. You have the opportunity to network with experienced folks in the industry, learn a lot, and have a great time overall.
Houston Reading Parties
I love reading, but I don't want to be part of a book club. I want to read at my own pace. This is where Houston Reading Parties comes in. You can attend any of their events. All you have to bring is something to read, whether it is a book, your kindle, or even a comic book. I have started reading more books thanks to this group.
